Bike Barn Warranty Terms and Conditions

Effective March 1, 2006. The Bike Barn is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty, the terms of which are as follows:

No product purchased prior to this date is covered.

The Lifetime Warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser. All Bike Barns contain a warranty registration form that needs to be completed and returned within 60 days of your purchase. If you purchased it directly from PTI Products, the manufacturer, there will be no need to return the warranty as all purchase records are maintained.

The warranty is prorated based on the anticipated 10 year life of the cover, and includes any failure in quality or workmanship.

The warranty covers replacement of the defective parts for the anticipated 10 year life of the product based on the following formula:

• First year 100% no cost replacement.

• Second year, customer pays 20% of the retail value.

• Third year, customer pays 30% of the retail value

• Fourth year, customer pays 40% of retail value.

• Fifth year, customer pays 50% of retail value.

• Sixth year, customer pays 60% of retail value.

• Seventh year, customer pays 70% of retail value.

• Eighth year, customer pays 80% of retail value.

• Nine and subsequent years, customer pays 90% of retail value.

• All replacement parts are shipped at customers cost.

To qualify for the warranty customers must email a formal request to sales@thebikebarn.net together with a picture of the component in question. If a determination cannot be made based on these pictures you may be asked to return the item for factory inspection. Once this has been completed the replacement will be shipped to you.

PTI Products retains the right to replace a single affected part or the complete unit at their sole discretion.
